The weekend kicked off with training sessions from four specially selected speakers - here they are:
How to think like a journalist.
How do you come up with the best ideas for news stories? How do you structure information to tell a great story? If you want to know what's inside the journalistic toolbox, this is the session for you! This session is hosted by Nikolai Atefie, who is a journalist at RadioAF in Malmö.
How to think like a Developer.
What is an API? How do you get started with databases? And what programming language is for you? Developer Jens Christian Hillerup will give us an introduction to get you started - and a look at the skill set of a true hacker.
How to be a developer-journalist.
Knight-Mozilla Fellow Aurelia Moser has flown in from NYC to share with us how it can be done from her rich experience of reporting, building and visualizing news.
Data Journalism in DR.
How do developers, journalists and digital designers work together to create great results? Journalist Kresten Morten Munksgaard explains how it is done every day at the data journalism desk at Danmarks Radio (Danish Broadcasting Corporation).
